Hippo the Water Saver is a simple tried and tested device which when placed
in your toilet cistern will reduce the amount of water used to flush the toilet
by about 3 litres (about 1/3 of a tank) which still allows the toilet to
flush effectively. Made
from durable Polyethylene, the Hippo Water Saver opens up into an open-ended box which
sits in your cistern underneath the float. A small hole also allows slow
circulation and prevents stagnation.

Where

How
|
Fitting the Hippo Water Saver takes a couple of minutes and is a very straightforward task.
- Remove the lid of your cistern.
- Put both hands inside the Hippo and push out the corners to a box shape.
- Place the open end of the Hippo over cistern float then turn over and
fully immerse it in water.
- Flush the toilet in the normal manner whilst simultaneously pouring
about 4 litres of water into your Hippo.
- Replace the lid of the cistern and start saving water!
